Propagating – Plants for Free

Geoof Hodge is a freelance garden writer, writing for various national gardening magazines and websites – as well as lots more besides! Previously, he was the Web Editor for the Royal Horticultural Society, Gardening Editor of Garden News magazine and Technical Editor of Garden Answers magazine. His talk / demonstration on propagating – plants for free  will provide expert advice on propagating.  We all want something for nothing and propagation is a simple way of producing lots of new plants – for almost next to nothing! Geoff will give you hints, tips and advice on vegetative propagation, splitting herbaceous plants and taking cuttings from a wide range of garden plants. Geoff  has written a book on the subject – Propagation Techniques – for the Royal Horticultural Society, so he knows what he is doing. This is a practical demonstration.
