For the second year running, the Alpine Garden Society Spring Show will take place at Chelmsford Racecourse on 1 March 2025. We have a coach booked with Avanti Travel. Further details and booking details will follow.
With over 200 entries across 11 flower classes, plus crafts, photography and home baking classes this is a show not to miss! The show is open to the general public from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. The annual Autumn Show of Diss & District Horticultural Society
Annual Open Show. 93 classes of vegetables, fruit, flowers, plants and cookery, plus some local WI’s taking part in their own competition. Refreshments available, plant and cake stall. Free entry.
Our Autumn Gardening Fayre will be held on Saturday 14th September at the Hempton Memorial Hall, The Green, Hempton NR21 7LG. Entries include dahlias, chrysanthemums and other autumn flowers, fruit, vegetables, flower arrangements, photography, craft and homemade produce. There are 54 classes in all. Members enjoyed this show so much in 2024 that we are intending to make a return trip to the Alpine Garden Society Spring Show at Chelmsford Racecourse in 2025.
