Tuesday February 18th A Talk by Sarah Hammond Owner of English Peonies ‘English Peonies’ With many years’ experience Sarah will give expert advice in growing and caring for Peonies. Sarah’s family have been growing a range of peonies, with other flowers, in their North Norfolk family farm for the last 50 years.
Members enjoyed this show so much in 2024 that we are making a return trip to the Alpine Garden Society Early Spring Show at Chelmsford Racecourse in 2025. Details are on the AGS website. Talk on Costa Rica by Pat Alker. International traveller Pat comes along to show us the range of flora and fauna in Costa Rica, including Jaguars, Monkeys and Birds, and of course all the Orchids that grow there. Visitors £2 with refreshments and raffle.
Our first show of 2025 will include displays of Daffodils, Cut Flowers, Pot Plants, Vegetables and Flower Arranging. There are separate classes for affiliated societies and juniors. Secondhand gardening books for sale. Advice & information. All welcome, free admission.

Members, affiliated society members and their guests are invited to join us for a private visit to The Old Vicarage at Fressingfield, home of society members John & Pam Castro. An opportunity to look around their 4.5 acre garden and enjoy tea and cake on the patio.
Our 2025 members holiday will be based in Devon, staying at The Headland Hotel, Torquay Five nights dinner, bed & breakfast. Tea/coffee on arrival and entertainment on most evenings.
