Entry Open to Everyone
Our Summer Show is open to everyone to enter, free of charge, with entries from beginners and juniors particularly welcome. There are classes for Roses, Sweet Peas, Cut Flowers, Pot Plants, Fruit, Vegetables and Floral Art and junior classes.
Beginners are welcome to enter any of the classes, not just those specifically marked as for novices(the term for new exhibitors in the horticultural world). We provide vases in various sizes and plates for the fruit & vegetable classes.
Have a look at the schedule and see what you could enter. A large opened Rose flower floating in a bowl, which we provide, is very easy to enter (Class 10). Perhaps you have a pot plant you are very fond of, or you grow your own vegetables and soft fruit? Phone us on the number below if you want more details about how to enter and prepare your exhibits. Entries are staged the day before the show opens and help will be available to support you if you are new to this. You will be given a one day show and car pass so that you can view the show, take part in the award presentations at 4.30pm on the Thursday and collect any prize money, which is awarded to First, Second & Third prize winners in all classes.
